DuMont Media Group Becomes New Shareholder at Facelift

Facelift has a new strategic partner: The DuMont Media Group. After the past 5 years of growth to over 200 employees, the new partner provides everything for the next phase of growth of Facelift’s offering. The two founders Benjamin Schroeter and Teja Toepfer will continue to stay on board at Facelift and manage the company, both strategically and operationally.

The founders and managing directors, Benjamin Schroeter and Teja Toepfer state “DuMont’s long-term commitment offers us the preservation of entrepreneurial freedom as well as additional momentum for continuous strong growth of the company. Simultaneously, it is a clear acknowledgement of our ‘Made in Germany’ standpoint”.

The DuMont Media Group receives a 75 per cent share of the Facelift brand building technologies GmbH. 25 per cent will remain with the founders. Nothing will change for the more than 1,000 customers of Facelift. The product, Facelift Cloud, will be improved in the usual high-quality standard and the development accelerated once again.

The controlling interest acquisition has yet to be approved by the cartel authority in Germany.

Among others, the media brands “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger”, “Kölnische Rundschau”, “Berliner Zeitung”, “Mitteldeutsche Zeitung”, “EXPRESS”, “Berliner Kurier” and “Hamburger Morgenpost” are all associated towards the DuMont Media Group’s three business segments regional media, business information and digital. The DuMont publishing house as well as local radio and TV stations are counted alongside regional advertisers. Through the venture fonds “Capnamic” and “DuMont Venture”, the Media Group also holds shares in young, rapidly growing companies.
